This weekend was SO fun! It started with the Creative show "Masterpieces" where I got to dance with my little tappers (see the sailor costume below) and ended the weekend with family fun at Helen's house! Hopefully this great streak will pour over into this week!

My amazing sister and her family took me to Mexico with them for a family vacation and my birthday! We stayed at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Penasco and it's right on the beach!!! It was so much fun and beautiful and we had absolutely perfect weather everyday! Colin's sister and her family came too and we all swam and played on the beach every single day.The kids didn't get tired of it. Not even for a minute :) It was the best 27th birthday anyone could ever hope for! I have the best family! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Spontaneous trip to VEGAS!

Once upon a time there was a girl named Becky and a boy named Fred. They were Yaar babies and they had many adventures together.

The following adventure took place on March 20th, 2010

MURDOCK CHEVEROLET (6pm)

Becky: "Today sucked. This week sucked. Brock's in Vegas all weekend for training and I need a vacation!"

Fred: "Ok lets go somewhere! We could go to Wendover."

Becky: "Wendover? What are we gonna do in Wendover?"

Fred: "Ok let's go to Vegas!"

Becky: "hmmmm.....ok :)"

25 minutes later we were on the road to Vegas in a yellow PT Cruiser.

We arrived in Vegas just before midnight and played all weekend. Brock stayed in Vegas an extra 2 days after his training and drove back with us!!!!!

Here are some of our pictures from the trip :) We did Tournament of Kings, Bellagio Fountain, Red Rock Canyon, and even The Little White Chapel :)

My amazing friends Shannon from Signature-photography and Stacey from Stacey Gardner Photography were nice enough to take photos of some of the tutus I've made so I decided it's time to post some of them for you. These photographers have different styles but they are both so incredibly talented!

A couple of weeks ago Brock and I went to New Mexico to visit my sister Sarah and her family and they took us to Carlsbad Caverns! It was SO much fun! I even learned how to write our names with flashlights :)

Every year for the last 3 years I have gone to Gardner Village and picked out a new Christmas Ornament from The Christmas Shoppe. This is one of my favorite personal traditions and it always gets me ready for Christmas. This year I picked Willow Tree's "The Dancer Ornament" and I think she's my favorite ornament so far. I love Christmas.

The Dancer is about creativity. The sentiment refers to the fact that everything we create starts with a little idea — and a many times we get these ideas in quiet moments of inner reflection. We are quick to reward action and work — the process of doing. But a lot of creativity sparks from seemingly inactive moments, so it is important to daydream, imagine, and get excited about possibilities. It's about giving yourself permission to quietly sit and think — these moments are to be valued. This piece celebrates creativity, in all its shapes and forms. The Dancer is unique in Willow Tree in that she is not hidden in a dress. I chose Body Movement as a universal expression of creativity because modern dance and ballet is what I watch to be inspired. It is sculpture in motion. I think it is one of the most beautiful ways of using the body to express emotion.

Last weekend I had the awesome opportunity to be in a movie. The movie is called Takito: The quest to save Rivendork, and it's a prequel to the first Takito movie which is making fun of the movie Shakito.
IT WAS A BLAST!
Acting is definitely not my forte but because this movie was supposed to be funny and over the top I was able to get into my character of Mable more easily:)
Who knew I would enjoy being such a nerd?!?!?! Anyway here are some pictures of the "intense" and funny parts of the shoot. Gotta love the arts!

Me, Shannon, Fred, and Amanda were ALL jumping at the same time but Fred wussed out at the last second lol

My BIG jumps of the day. About 40-45 feet.

As you can see, my friends and I went to Causey this last weekend for (what my dad fondly refers to as) "Cofin Jumping". It was pretty chilly and cloudy but it was such a blast anyway. A Praying Mantis tried to eat me, Shannon, Amanda, and I all got bruises and were the only girls that jumped the 40-45 foot ledge (woot woot!), Amanda scrapped her leg, Kristen jumped in full clothing, Karl jumped a 50 foot on his first jump of the day, Shannon peed her pants in front of everyone (for real though), Angel got sunburned, Isabel had to be threatened before she would jump, Fred had to be bribed to jump, Mike and Karl carried a canoe down the side of a mountain, and all in all we had a fantasmigorical day.

The Daredevils of the day!!!! Yep, we're buff.

Yay for friends and fun. Who's up for another Causey experience?

Ben is 8 years old! My oldest nephew is growing up so fast! He was baptized and confirmed last week by his dad and it was such an amazing experience.
Ben's full name is Benjamin Dennis Fewster Gardner. He is named after my grandfather (his great grandfather) Dennis Fewster. My grandad passed away last summer I miss him so much. It was so incredible to feel his spirit there at the baptism. I am so grateful to know that i will see grandad again and that there really is life after this life.
I am also grateful that my dad was able to be in Utah for this baptism. Dad hasn't been able to visit Utah for 2 years so I am thrilled that he was able to be here for such a special day.

WE LOVE YOU BEN AND WE'RE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU!

It has been such a fun time lately! I went on a cruise to Mexico (If you want to see the pictures of that trip you'll have to go on facebook. There are like 900 of them) and then I went up to Causey Resevoir to jump off cliffs with Megan! It was SO cool. WHAT A RUSH! I will definitely be doing it again soon!

OH yeah then we got locked out of the house so we had to break in.....GOOD TIMES! Meg was like a little monkey!

Weekend of joyfulness!

Remember how Kiyo has the coolest camera ever?!?!?! Her camera takes 16 shots in a row! This is what happens when 2 white girls and 3 Hawaiians get bored waiting to go tubing....

This weekend was absolutely fabulous. I spent my time in Lava Hot springs with my awesome singles ward, my bff, and some awesome Hawaiians. Sarah Davis (my hilarious bff) decided it would be fun to fit 6 girls into our 4 man tent...yeah... this is what happens when you put Lava Hot girls together in a 4 man tent....

The next day was Big Mikes (a.k.a. Jeppie) Birthday. He turned the old age of 29!!! To celebrate his oldness we went to Laura's house for cake and ice-cream! P.S Here is a picture of the coolest people in this entire world!

Yeah... then we went to Fred's house and watched Sense and Sensibility and ate Fun Pops. Don't be jealous.

July 4th Festivities

For those of you who don't already know....Centerville City is a pretty hip happening place! Yup. Last night (July 3rd) we had our own little celebration at Founders Park. There was food, live music, and FIREWORKS! There was also a parade this morning but I slept through it haha :)

Strangely the city chose to hire a Beatles cover band to perform! HA HA Isn't the 4th of July supposed to be about declaring independance from the British ???? OH WELL! I didn't mind obviously......

Fathers Day

On Fathers Day I spent the day with Dean and his family :) We ate lunch, sang along with Warren's awesome guitar playing, and played catch and other ball games in the yard. Dean's nephew Joshie came over too which was nice. We don't see him very often so it was great to have him :)

He is funny, loving, understanding, spiritual, and much much more. I miss him so much and wished that I could have been in England for Fathers Day!
